Reflection

This project was an excellent introduction to engineering, teaching me essential skills in CAD, Python coding, and 3D printing technology. I gained valuable experience in collaboration, problem-solving, and adapting to challenges like design constraints and last-minute troubleshooting. Testing and continuous revising emphasized the importance of continual progress, and working on both mechanical and code components increased my confidence in integrating different skills. Overall, the project improved my technical knowledge and teamwork skills, preparing me to face more complex problems in the future.

One of the most valuable lessons I learned from this project was leadership. As the project manager, I realized my role in leading my team to a successful project. This work taught me the value of facilitating communication among teammates, as collaboration is at the heart of any successful project. Even if tasks are divided, they have to eventually come together to create an overall end product. Being a leader involves making sure that coordination goes well and encouraging teamwork to achieve the project. Moving forward, I intend to build on the leadership abilities I gained during this project, emphasizing communication and teamwork to effectively lead my future teams.
